We are looking for someone to help create, execute, manage, optimize and report on our clients’ paid social media marketing campaigns, while working collaboratively with our account planners, creative and design teams. This person has hands-on experience and is comfortable setting up and executing campaigns in Facebook Ads Manager.. They will support the growth and innovation of our paid social media offering and help us do outstanding work that delivers true ROI for our clients.


The role of Media Planner is exciting, varied and constantly evolving. In this role, you will:

  • Report directly to the Lead Media Planner, with oversight from the Senior Lead & Media Director
  • Plan, build and manage paid social media campaigns in a wide range of platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat & Pinterest
  • Optimize existing paid social campaigns, analyze data and report back on performance
  • Support the Lead Media Planner in developing and delivering sound media plans and forecasts that meet client goals
  • Work on key client accounts in the retail, news, fashion, CPG and other verticals (averaging ~$100K - $1MM+ in monthly budgets)
  • Derive insights and actionable next steps from social platform performance; speaking to the role that paid social plays in the consumer journey
  • Work alongside team members and clients to maximize growth opportunities within current workload
  • Collaborate with clients to help them stay aware of social media trends and technology while supporting their marketing objectives
  • Aim for constant innovation across all deliverables
  • Oversee budgets and pacing for paid media deliverables
  • Research and assess technology solutions and processes to help improve our capabilities
  • Contribute insights and strategic thinking to the media team, helping the media team to grow and constantly innovate and improve its offering
  • Support media analysts and creative teams in delivery of internal and client work by providing media research & insights
  • Uphold the highest standards of work, following rigorous campaign QA processes & oversight



  • 2-3+ years of relevant experience in a social media marketing role at an agency or brand
  • Strong understanding of digital paid media, particularly paid social media
  • Advanced proficiency with setting up and managing campaigns in Facebook Ads Manager is required
  • Hands on experience with TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn & Twitter – or at least 2 of these
  • Familiarity with Google Ads and Google Analytics is also advantageous
  • Experience or knowledge in other digital media channels a plus
  • Proficiency in direct response campaigns and performance metrics
  • Team player: strong multitasking and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment with the occasional delegation to junior staff
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Google Sheets or MS Excel
  • Comfortable in Google Slides / MS Powerpooint
  • An inquisitive and numeric mindset
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Internet research and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with a high attention to detail

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in and loving a start-up environment
  • Experience using Tableau and/or Google Data Studio
